My name is Shawn, and I am a science teacher currently living in Paris, France. This is just a simple place for me to keep track of my thoughts on food, travel, and teaching. It is intended to be used by my family and friends as a way to share recipes and connect with each other. After a recent fire that destroyed my stored recipes on a popular mobile app, I figured it was time to make my own space instead!
The infinite staircase is a concept found in many fantasy settings; it is a hidden, endless set of steps and platforms. Each time one arrives at a landing, a new door or portal awaits to some unknown landscape and new adventure. Few can successfully enter and leave the stairway; even fewer can learn to actually navigate the doors to find what they are looking for.
